Michigan Election Law governs voter registration in Michigan and local voter registrations are consolidated within the State of Michigan's Qualified Voter File. Information about registering to vote or changing your voter registration is available online through the State of Michigan Voter Information Center.
Voter ID Cards can only be obtained from the Township Clerk's Office. You may request a new voter ID card by phone, in person, or by email. You do not need a voter ID card to vote in any election; however, your voter ID card shows all of your specific voter information, such as where to vote for general or school elections.
