Overview

The DeWitt Charter Township Board of Appeals has the responsibility of hearing and deciding variance requests to the Zoning Ordinance (PDF), making interpretations of the Zoning Ordinance, addressing boundary questions related to zoning districts, and hearing appeals of administrative determinations or decisions. If a petition has been filed, the Board of Appeals meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at the DeWitt Charter Township Hall.
