MICHIGAN SMALL BUSINESS RELIEF PROGRAM (MSBRP) – GRANTS
The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) has been allocated $600,000 in emergency small business relief grant funds from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to distribute 60 $10,000 grants to Lansing region small businesses. Small businesses wishing to apply for grant funds must be Michigan-based with under 50 employees (full and part time) and meet additional criteria.
The application, business eligibility, scoring criteria, review process, and frequently asked questions can all be found on the Leap website at www.purelansing.com/businessrelief. It is anticipated that the application will be available on the LEAP website by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020 and applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Grants are anticipated to be awarded on Monday, April 6 with funds distributed by Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
